🔍 NVIDIA Keynote: From Text AI to Spatial Intelligence
At NVIDIA GTC, Jensen Huang outlined a significant shift in the direction of AI: from language-based systems toward physical intelligence. The keynote emphasized how AI is increasingly able to understand geometry, context, and spatial relationships, pointing to a future where design workflows are shaped by intelligent 3D systems rather than text prompts alone.

For AAL, this signals an important development for the AEC industry. It suggests a future in which architects and designers may work more as editors of intelligent spatial drafts, using AI-generated environments as a starting point rather than beginning from scratch. At the same time, it reinforces the need for human judgment in areas such as constructability, code compliance, and regulatory review, where professional expertise remains essential.
The key opportunity lies in combining spatial AI with existing BIM, design, and compliance workflows to improve both speed and decision-making quality across the project lifecycle.
🎙️ MICS Recap
We recently wrapped up MICS #20 with Shawn Muraya of SiteSeer, where we explored how AI can improve transparency and efficiency across the construction industry. Shawn shared how SiteSeer is using AI-powered, cloud-based workflows to help project stakeholders manage the full lifecycle of construction projects through a more unified and data-driven system.
The session offered a valuable look at how digital tools can support better coordination, stronger decision-making, and fewer delays in complex project environments. It was a great reminder of how innovation is being shaped not only in established markets, but also through emerging voices and new use cases across the global construction landscape.
